We spoke to Shahnaz Husain, beauty expert and founder of Shahnaz Husain Group, and asked her to share some tips on how people with oily skin can take care of their skin during the spring season:

1. Use a cleanser made especially for oily skin. You could use a face wash or a lotion for cleansing. Use a medicated soap or cleanser for skin problems (spots, blackheads, pimples, acne), which helps to eliminate pollutants without affecting the acid-alkaline balance. On the skin, it also generates a germicidal environment.

2. Exfoliation is an essential element of oily skin care. The skin should be gently scrubbed before being washed off with water. They make skin texture better.

3. Fuller's Earth (multani mitti) also helps in pore closure and oil reduction. Use a paste made of multani mitti and rose water three times a week. When it dries, wash it off. Oats and flour (besan) are ingredients that reduce the amount of oiliness.

4. Diet is another essential thing that one needs to take care of. An overloaded system reflects on the skin. Use raw salads, sprouts, whole grains, yoghurt, and fresh fruits in your daily diet to keep your system clean. Also, make sure to drink six to eight glasses of water.
