Hunting for good foot cream, I suggest you make your own using these easy and fun to make recipes.

Shea Foot Cream

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil  
  • 1 tbsp beeswax pastilles  
  • ½ cup unrefined shea butter  
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil 
  • 15 drops tea tree essential oil 
  • 8 drops peppermint essential oil  

The Shea Butter is high on vitamin A and vitamin K which nourishes our skin like a charm. If you have cracked heels that bleed and are painful, then this ingredient is a must add.

The Coconut Oil in this cream helps heal dry, wrinkled and flaky skin. It is antibacterial as it is high in lauric acid content which keeps the germs away.

Beeswax is a natural wax that holds moisture in your skin as it makes a protective barrier that keeps the skin irritants away.

Avocado Oil is anti-inflammatory and helps repair bleeding, painful and rough cracked heels. It lubricates the skin and is contains vitamin E, which is perfect for wound healing!

Tea Tree Essential Oil is an anti-fungal and antiseptic oil that fights off fungus and has a clean scent.

Peppermint Essential Oil is cooling and refreshing and provides relief to tired heels. 


  • Melt the shea butter, beeswax, coconut oil and avocado oil in a double boiler.
  • Let the mixture cool for 2 minutes then add and stir the essential oils
  • Then place in the  freezer for 10 minutes,
  • Now whip the mixture which is partially solid, till it looks like butter.
  • Get a glass jar and store in dry and cool place.

Honey Foot Cream

Honey: This is a humectant, which is perfect for dry and cracked heels as it locks in the moisture. 

Milk: Rich in vitamin A, milk helps in rebuilding and repairing the skin.

Orange Juice: Oranges are packed with vitamin C which helps in producing collagen which is responsible for our skin's elasticity and softness.


  • 1 cup of warm organic honey
  • 2 tbsp milk 
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • Foot file


Warm the honey slightly.

Stir in the milk and the juice of ½ an orange.

Use a pumice stone and get rid of the callused skin before spreading a layer of the mixture.

Leave it on for 45 minutes and then rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly.

Do this twice daily.
