The following cheek tints have a creamy consistency, but if you wish, you can add some water to make them liquidy. 

Beetroot Tint

If you wish to give your cheeks a rosy and natural tint, then this one is just for you. There is no need to buy expensive cheek tints, when you can make one for yourself at home. By just combining a few common kitchen ingredients, you have an all-natural tint which will serve the purpose for you. 

Ingredients required: Beetroot powder/extract, glycerine, water and an empty small container. 

Steps to make the tint-

  • Step 1- Combine one tablespoon of water with one teaspoon of glycerine.
  • Step 2- Mix well until it turns thick. 
  • Step 3- Now add the beetroot powder to it. You can add the powder according to the consistency you need. 
  • Step 4- Mix everything together and transfer the tint to the small container. 
  • Step 5- Keep it in the refrigerator for at least two hours, post which it is ready to use. 

Make sure you always store your tint in the fridge to maintain its creamy texture. You can use it on your cheeks as well as lips.

Food Colouring Tint

Another easy hack to keep your cheek stain natural yet tinted, is by using food colouring. You can use a red food colouring to prepare a creamy blush for yourself. Once prepared, all you need to do is rub a little on your cheeks, to get a subtle shade of pink on your cheekbones. 

Ingredients required: Red food colouring, almond oil, water and an empty small container. 

Steps to make the tint-

  • Step 1- Take a tablespoon of almond oil and mix a teaspoon of water in it. 
  • Step 2- Now add 2-3 drops of red food colouring, depending on the shade you want. 
  • Step 3- Mix everything together, till it gets thick. 
  • Step 4- Now transfer it to the small container and freeze for 2 hours. 
  • Step 5- The tint will easily sustain for 3-4 months, if stored in the fridge. 

You can increase or decrease the quantity of the food colouring, according to your need. If you want a shade of pink in your blush, don’t add more than a drop of colouring. Add 4-5 drops, if you are aiming for a darker tint.

Hibiscus Tint

You also use hibiscus powder to add that red tinge of colour to your cheek stain. Hibiscus essential oil can also be used in it, to give it the right fragrance. Make sure you don’t use more than one drop of it, as if used in excess, essential oils can harm your skin. 

 Ingredients required: Hibiscus powder/extract, shea butter, glycerine, water and an empty small container. 

Steps to make the tint-

  • Step 1- Mix a teaspoon of glycerine with a tablespoon of water. 
  • Step 2- Add hibiscus powder to the liquid. 
  • Step 3- Mix well and add ¼ teaspoon of shea butter. 
  • Step 4- Combine everything and transfer to a small container. 
  • Step 5- Freeze it and later use it for giving a rosy tint to your cheeks.
