Banana and yoghurt are rich in nutrients that promote hair growth. Try this effortless hair mask for a soft and shiny mane.
Bananas are loaded with potassium, vitamins A, B, and C, and help hydrate, soften hair, and improve elasticity. Yoghurt is incredibly high in protein as well as lactic acid; it gently cleans the scalp, calms irritation, and assists with reducing breakage from root to tip.
Ingredients:
- One ripe banana
- Two tablespoons plain yoghurt
- One tablespoon of honey
- One teaspoon of coconut or olive oil
How To Make:
- Combine the banana and yoghurt until smooth. Ensure there are no lumps, add honey and oil and mix well.
- Apply the mask to clean, damp hair, starting from the roots and working your way to the ends.
- Massage gently into your scalp and cover your hair with a shower cap. Let it sit for 20-30 minutes.
- Wash it thoroughly with lukewarm water and follow with a mild shampoo if needed.
- For best results, use once a week for dry or damaged hair. For normal to oily hair, once every two weeks is enough.
