Squid Game Season 1 Recap
- Squid Game season 1 starts with Seong Gi-hun, a debt-ridden chauffeur and gambling addict, who is invited to participate in a mysterious survival game with a huge cash prize. He joins 455 other players, all of whom are financially desperate.
- The players are forced to play a series of traditional children's games with deadly twists. The first game, "Red Light, Green Light," reveals the deadly stakes when numerous contestants are killed for moving during "red light."
- As the games progress, alliances form among the players. Gi-hun teams up with Cho Sang-woo, a childhood friend, Kang Sae-byeok, a North Korean defector, and Abdul Ali, a Pakistani worker.
- The games are revealed to be a form of entertainment for wealthy VIPs who bet on the outcomes. The enigmatic Front Man oversees the games, while the participants' humanity and morals are pushed to their limits.
- The final game pits Gi-hun against Sang-woo in a brutal showdown. Gi-hun emerges victorious but is traumatised by the experience. He decides to use his winnings to honour those who lost their lives in the games.

Squid Game Season 2 Recap
- Squid Game season 2 starts with Gi-hun struggling to return to a normal life. He grapples with guilt and the trauma of his experiences, eventually discovering that the games are still ongoing.
- Gi-hun teams up with a determined detective, who is investigating the disappearance of his brother, a former player. They work together to uncover the truth behind the games and bring the organisers to justice.
- A new set of financially desperate participants is introduced, each with their own backstory and motivations. The games become even more brutal and complex.
- The Front Man faces internal conflict and challenges to his authority as the participants become more rebellious. Secrets about the origins and purpose of the games are revealed.
- Gi-hun and the detective orchestrate a plan to take down the games from the inside. The season ends with a dramatic confrontation and hints at a larger conspiracy behind the deadly games.

The Squid Game season 3 will be released on June 27, 2025, on the popular OTT platform Netflix.
