Back in Phulera, Brij Bhushan Dubey (Pradhan Ji) refuses to accept a new sachiv and blocks the replacement from taking over. His allies, Vikas and Prahlad, stand by him, although Prahlad is still consumed by grief over his son’s death. Meanwhile, Bhushan steps up his game, trying to tarnish the image of the Dubey family. Along with his wife Kranti Devi and aides Binod and Madhav, he manipulates village sentiment against the administration. When the PM Awas Yojana scheme is rolled out, Bhushan accuses the Pradhan of favouritism, as most beneficiaries come from West Phulera their political stronghold. Even Abhishek gets caught in a moral bind, approving a questionable case to help the Pradhan family divert attention from poor road conditions.
Bhushan uses this issue to stir discontent and align with MLA Singh, who is out on bail. The two plot a public show of unity through a peace meeting. But their plan falls flat when Singh accidentally kills a pigeon meant to symbolise harmony. This misstep further damages his image, especially when Bum Bahadur, the pigeon’s breeder, speaks to the media.
Singh retaliates by sending goons to attack Bum, but the villagers unite to protect him. Later, Singh is advised to sell off his horse due to growing allegations of animal abuse. Seizing this opportunity, Phulera residents buy the horse with Prahlad’s compensation money, enraging Singh further.

Abhishek rushes back after the exam, only to get into a physical altercation with Singh’s men and end up in jail.

The mystery around who ordered the attack deepens. Singh denies involvement, calling it too sloppy for his standards. Some suspect Bhushan, while others believe Pradhan Ji staged the attack for sympathy ahead of elections. A third theory points to local goons Bablu and Dablu, or even the MP acting in Singh’s favour.
With Abhishek’s future uncertain and Phulera’s political landscape in turmoil, ‘Panchayat’ Season 3 ends on a gripping note, setting up intense drama for the next season.
‘Panchayat’ Season 4 releases on June 24, 2025, on Amazon Prime Video.
