MitronPolitan, the next weekly show from the stable of TVF, got its first trailer on Wednesday. Lasting 1:43 minutes, the promotional clip gives ample glimpses into what the show is all about . In it, we see how a bunch of youngsters, all from different backgrounds, come together and find a unique bond in a metropolitan city. The release date has not yet been announced.
MitronPolitan Trailer: Bunch of 20-Somethings Struggles To Settle in a Metro
The trailer for MitronPolitan (a word play of "metropolitan") starts with a shot of the imposing structure of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, implying that the show is set in Mumbai. In the next frame, we see a young man, Rajat, hailing a taxi while narrating how life starts afresh after you get a new job in a new city after college.
From his accent, we understand that he is from Bihar and that he would share the room with two other men, Kanan and Rishi. The eventual frames in the trailer establish the awkwardness Rajat has in adjusting to the usual ways of a busy city since he is from "proper Bihar." For example, when Rishi tells Rajat that he will have the "biggest room," the latter asks quite innocently, "How will I stay in the hall?" From this, we can perceive that Rajat has no idea that Mumbai suffers from serious real estate constraints.
As the trailer progresses, we get a few hilarious situations and pretty funny dialogues. Picture this: Kanan goes to a cafe and asks the woman at the counter that if the girl he's on a date with orders anything above 500/-, she should say that the item is unavailable!
