Criminal Justice Season 4 Fan Theories: Pankaj Tripathi’s magic is working like a charm once again in ‘Criminal Justice: A Family Matter.’ Our favourite on-screen lawyer, Madhav Mishra, is back and knee-deep in another gripping case. As the tagline rightly suggests, “It’s a family matter.”
With each new episode releasing every Thursday, fans are getting more obsessed, and the suspense has reached an all-time high. The mystery surrounding Roshni’s murder has set Reddit abuzz, and as Episode 6 approaches, the fan theories just keep getting crazier and more convincing.
Here are 3 Reddit theories you simply can’t ignore if you’re trying to figure out who killed Roshni.
‘Criminal Justice’ Season 4 Episode 6: 3 Fan Theories
Was Kamala Trying to Poison Ira But Killed Roshni Instead?
One of the strongest reddit theories gaining traction online points fingers at Kamala, the maid. A Reddit user wrote, “Yea.. could be Kamla.. there will be a moral in the end for sure & .. hai toh koi andar wala.. maybe Kamla is taking revenge on Dr Raj by mixing something in Ira’s food to make her sick (there is so much reference of Ira having some complications… what’s the need.. this can’t be random). And Roshni caught Kamla and confronted her.”
The theory suggests that Kamala may have had a personal vendetta against Raj, perhaps over a past medical mistake that affected her family and Roshni just got in the way.
Is Ira The Killer?
Another widely shared theory puts the spotlight on Ira, Raj and Anju’s daughter. One Redditor speculated: “I feel like Ira could’ve killed her… wanted her parents to be together and most probably Raj or Anju actually saw it but they can’t let their daughter go to jail.”
Interestingly, this theory also ties back to a muted scene in Episode 4, where Raj and Anju are seen having a tense, wordless exchange possibly hinting at a shared secret they’re protecting.
Three People Did It? Kamala, Arsh, and the Grandmother?
This one’s for fans who love digging into tiny clues. A detailed Reddit comment reads: “What you’ll notice if you go back to Episode 1 is that at about 7 AM that day, the grandmother leaves talking to Dr. Raj about some donations. This might be connected to Episode 5’s reveal that Kamala had asked Raj for something big. Also, the grandmother hands over two filled green garbage bags to Raj, who puts them outside before his jog. The killer could’ve dumped the scalpel into one of these bags. I think the grandmother and Kamala are co-conspirators.”

The theory further claims, “The grandmother clearly had no love for Roshni. She disapproved of the relationship and her expressions showed it. Wouldn’t be shocked if Dr. Arsh Mistry, Kamala, and the grandmother all orchestrated it together.”
While all of these theories sound very interesting, we will have to wait for the remaining episodes to find out who actually killed Roshni.
