Billie Eilish was the star of the night, winning all seven categories she was nominated in. Her album Hit Me Hard and Soft took home Album of the Year, while her track "Birds of a Feather" won Song of the Year. She also grabbed the top honour — Artist of the Year. While Jennifer Lopez kicked off the show with a high-energy medley, dancing to hits including Chappell Roan’s "Hot to Go" and Kendrick Lamar’s "Not Like Us", leaving the audience amazed.

Music legend Janet Jackson was honoured with the Icon Award. She wowed fans with her first televised performance in seven years, singing a mix of her classic hits. Rod Stewart was also celebrated with the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by five of his children. He closed his segment with an emotional performance of "Forever Young".
