Whether it's a formal or casual day, everyone loves wearing a white shirt, as it makes them look super cool and chic until stains, especially sweat marks or dullness, sneak in. But don't worry, you can easily clean it using just two simple kitchen ingredients, baking soda and white vinegar. Here is how you can do it.
How To Clean White Shirts Using Baking Soda And White Vinegar
Ingredients:
*half a cup of baking soda
*half a cup of white vinegar
Step-by-Step Method:
*Make A Soaking Solution
Fill up your bucket with warm water and add half a cup of baking soda and half a cup of white vinegar into it. The mixture will make a hissing sound, which is normal. The fizz breaks down the dirt and stains.
*Soak The Shirt
Dip your favourite white shirt in the solution and let it soak for 30 minutes to one hour. This will remove all the dirt and stains, sprinkle a little extra baking soda directly, and gently scrub your shirt with a brush.
*Rinse The White Shirt
After soaking for an hour, wash your shirt and clean water, and then wash it in the washing machine or by hand.
*Air Dry In The Sun
Dry your white shirt in direct sunlight if possible; sunlight naturally helps whiten and brighten the fabric.
