Banks in Odisha and Manipur will remain closed on Friday, June 27, 2025, in observance of Ratha Yatra and Kang (Rathajatra), respectively. These closures fall under the ‘Holiday’ under the Negotiable Instruments Act, as per the RBI’s official list.
Bank Holiday on June 28, 2025
Banks will also be closed on June 28, 2025, as it marks the fourth Saturday of the month. According to RBI regulations, banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.

As usual, June 29, 2025 (Sunday), is a weekly off for banks across the country.
About Rath Yatra in Odisha
Ratha Yatra is one of the most significant Hindu festivals held annually in Puri, Odisha.
