India’s badminton sensation PV Sindhu is all set to tie the knot with Venkata Dutta Sai in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur. According to a report in India Today, the wedding celebrations are slated to begin on December 20, 2024, according to Sindhu’s family. A grand reception is also planned in Hyderabad on December 24, 2024. The wedding date has been chosen thoughtfully to allow Sindhu ample time to rejoin the international badminton circuit in January, as the upcoming season holds significant importance for her career.
PV Sindhu Set To Marry Venkata Datta Sai
Double Olympic medallist and badminton star PV Sindhu is set to marry Hyderabad-based Venkata Datta Sai, the executive director of Posidex Technologies, in Udaipur on December 22, 2024. The announcement follows Sindhu’s recent victory at the Syed Modi International in Lucknow, marking the end of a lengthy title drought. As per PTI, the wedding festivities will begin on December 20, 2024, with a grand reception planned in Hyderabad on December 24, 2024.

Sindhu’s father, PV Ramana, revealed that while the two families have known each other for some time, the arrangements were finalised only a month ago. "This was the only feasible time, as her schedule becomes packed starting January," he said, as per Hindustan Times.
"That’s why both families agreed on December 22, 2024, for the wedding ceremony," he further explained. "The reception will take place in Hyderabad on December 24. She will resume her training shortly after, as the upcoming season is crucial."

Who Is Venkata Datta Sai?
Venkata Datta Sai is currently serving as the executive director at Posidex Technologies, a company specialising in technological solutions. Interestingly, PV Sindhu recently unveiled the company’s new logo, further highlighting her connection to Sai and his professional endeavours.
Sai is the son of GT Venkateshwar Rao, the managing director of Posidex Technologies. This familial tie places him in a prominent position within the company, contributing significantly to its growth and direction.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Sai has an extensive academic background. He holds a Diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from the Foundation of Liberal and Management Education. Later, he pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and Finance from FLAME University, where he graduated in 2018. His educational journey continued with a Master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Bangalore.
Sai’s professional career began with JSW, a well-established conglomerate before he transitioned to a leadership role as the Managing Director at Sour Apple Asset Management. His career trajectory reflects his expertise and adaptability across various industries.
Since December 2019, Sai has been an integral part of Posidex Technologies. In his executive role, he has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth, focusing on innovative solutions and the strategic direction of the organisation, as per his LinkedIn account.
