NEET UG Toppers List 2024 (Out)

The National Agency of Testing (NTA) declared the NEET UG 2024 results on Tuesday, 4th June 2024. This year, the results were declared in record time, and the youth of the nation have shone with record-breaking results. NEET Toppers List 2024

The retest, held on Sunday, was overseen by officials from both the NTA and the Union Education Ministry, according to PTI. This decision came after the NTA decided to retract the extra marks given to students who faced delays at exam centers in Meghalaya, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and Chandigarh.

Initially, six students scored a perfect 720, along with 61 others, leading to allegations of inflated scores.

NEET UG 2024 Results

The NTA declared the results of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) Exams on their official website, exams.nta.ac.in, on June 4th, 2024. To check the results, students should download their scorecards from the official website, exams.nta.ac.in.

The NTA was supposed to declare the results around the third week of June but they have pleasantly surprised the aspiring doctors of India with the early result announcement, along with the answer key. The candidates who had raised objections against the provisional answer key can now check whether their objections have been considered.

NEET UG 2024 Toppers List

This year, the youth of India have made the country proud with a total of 67 candidates who have achieved NEET All India Rank (AIR) 1 with a percentile score of 99.997129. As per data shared by the National Testing Agency, a total of 9,96,393 male candidates, 13,31,321 female candidates, and 17 transgender candidates appeared for the exam. While the overall attendance has been recorded at 96.94 percent, the attendance of male candidates was 96.92 percent, 96.96 percent for female candidates, and 94.44 percent for transgender candidates. NET UG 2024: NTA Decalred New Grace Marks Policy

Along with the NEET UG results, NTA also released a statement shedding light on the candidates who raised complaints about losing time during the NEET exam, saying, “NTA received few representations and Court Cases from the candidates of NEET (UG) 2024 raising concerns of loss of time during the conduct of the examination on 05.05.2024. Such cases/representations were considered by NTA and the normalisation formula, which has been devised and adopted by the Hon'ble Apex Court, vide its Judgment dated 13.06.2018, was implemented to address the loss of time faced by the candidates of NEET (UG) 2024. The loss of examination time was ascertained and such candidates were compensated with grace marks. So, candidate's marks can be 718 or 719 also," the NTA stated.
