Kahwah is a hot, green tea topped with almond chunks It has numerous health benefits to it too. It is a great drink for digestion and fat burning. It reduces the risks of having a heart disease while keeping a check on metabolism. Regardless of all these benefits, kahwah is great for cold and cough. Improving the health of the skin is another on the list.
- 1 teaspoon Kashmiri Green Tea
- 3 cups Water
- 10-12 strands Saffron
- ½ inch stick Cinnamon
- 1 Clove
- 1 Cardamom (Crushed)
- ½ teaspoon Dried rose petals
- 2 teaspoon Almonds (Silvered)
- 1 teaspoon Honey (Optional)
How To Prepare
⁃Kahwah is prepared in a special copper utensil called samovar.
⁃Heat water in a pan.
⁃Add saffron, cinnamon, cloves, dried rose petals and cardamom in water and let it boil for 3-4 minutes.
⁃Add green tea in the water. Let the tea mix for a minute.
⁃Strain the tea in 2 cups. Add a few strands of saffron. Add honey if you like your kahwah slightly sweet.
