In the latest Union Budget 2023, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that PAN (Permanent Account Number) cards will be used as a common ID for all digital systems of specified government agencies. "For the business establishments required to have a permanent account number, the PAN will be used as a common identifier for all digital systems of specified government agencies," said Sitharaman.
Among many other things, a PAN card is necessary to submit an IT return, open a bank account, buy a new asset like a car or a house, stay somewhere, trade something for something else, or even for transactions that total more than a specific amount.
In light of this, here is a detailed process on how to apply for the PAN Card online, which will help you get the same hassle free.
How To Apply For A PAN Card Online?
