Dhanteras is one of the most auspicious Hindu festivals. It is observed on the thirteenth day of Kartik month as per the Hindu calendar. According to beliefs, buying gold jewellery, silver coins, and utensils on this day brings luck, prosperity, and more wealth.
On this day, people worship Lord Kubera, Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha to seek their blessings.
