24-year-old Bengali actress Aindrila Sharma, who was undergoing treatment after suffering multiple cardiac arrests earlier this week, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2022.
Sharma was admitted to the hospital on November 1 after suffering a brain stroke. She suffered an intracranial haemorrhage after which she had to undergo left frontotemporoparietal de-compressive craniotomy surgery. On November 14, she suffered multiple cardiac arrests and due to this, her health deteriorated.
Earlier actor Sabyasachi Chowdhary and Aindrila Sharma’s boyfriend had urged everyone through his social media handle to pray for the actress's health. He wrote, “ I never thought that I would write this here. However, today is the day. Pray for Aindrila, Pray for a miracle, Pray for the supernatural. She is fighting against all odds, beyond humans.”
Cancer Survivor
During her teenage days, Sharma was first diagnosed with cancer. However, she had defeated the disease twice and was recently declared cancer-free by the doctors a few months back.
On social media, fans paid tribute and offered their condolences to the late actor.
A fan wrote, "Shattered to know about the demise of young Bengal actres Aindrila Sharma, the promising actress who made her mark in Bengali TV Serials and Movies. A two time Cancer survivor, Aindrila epitomised an indomitable fighting spirit that earned the respect from all. Adieu Aindrila."
