Kuberaa Box Office Collection Day 5: Dhanush Starrer Nosedives After Weekend, Crosses Rs 50 Crore Mark

Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nagarjuna starrer ‘Kuberaa’ started on a good foot, crossing the 50 crore mark by day five; however, the earnings dipped after the weekend.

South Indian superstar Dhanush’s first Telugu movie ‘Kuberaa’ was released worldwide in theatres on June 20, 2025. The film opened with good numbers, eventually crossing the Rs 50 crore mark by the end of the first weekend. However, the collection started nosediving after day 3. As per Sacnilk's report, the opening collection stood at Rs 14.75 crore but later dropped to Rs 0.14 crore on day 5. Keep reading to know more.

The crime thriller film starring Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, andNagarjuna collected Rs 14.75 crore on day 1, followed by Rs 16.5 crore on day 2. The weekend witnessed a hike in the theatre occupancy, with day collection standing at Rs 17.35 crore. After the weekend, the collection started dipping, earning only Rs 6.74 crore and the fifth-day collection reflected Rs 0.14 crore (early estimates). The total collection according to the Sacnilk report is Rs 55.10 crore.

Kuberaa Plot, Cast, And Other Details

The film revolves around a beggar who undergoes a massive transformation, navigating greed and moral dilemmas. Kuberaa also features Jim Sarbh, Dalip Tahil, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Col Ravi Sharma, and K Bhagyaraj in key roles.

For Kuberaa’s success, the team held a party, where Rashmika clicked a selfie with Dhanush and posted it on Instagram with a heartfelt caption. “You’ve been an absolute gem of a person. Thank you so much for working so incredibly hard each and every day (only know this because every time we talk we are in different cities, doing different things and talking about how important rest is but how we are never actually able to do anything about it) and for giving us this kind of performance not only in Kuberaa but in everything that you do. It’s nothing short of incredible,” it read.

She further added, “You’ve been so incredibly kind, not only to me but everyone who I’ve seen you interact with.. and that I’ll remember forever, the number of laddoos you’ve given me on set.. the way you’d help me with my Tamil lines every day. When you liked the way I’d do a scene and you’d say.. ‘that was nice.’”
