Vishnu Manchu’s star-studded mythological drama has decided on a new release date. Recently, Vishnu Manchu, Prabhu Deva and Mohan Babu met Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath to promote their film. Scroll down to check out the new release date of this mythological movie.

Kannappa Gets New Release Date

Vishnu Manchu along with Prabhu Deva and Mohan Babu met CM Yogi Adityanath to promote their upcoming movie Kannappa. They gifted a glass painting and other presents to Yogi Adityanath before clicking a group picture with him. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the makers of the movie officially announced the new release date of the movie during their meeting with the UP Chief Minister.

Taran Adarsh took to social media X (formerly known as Twitter) to share the news. He wrote, “VISHNU MANCHU'S PAN-INDIA FILM 'KANNAPPA' LOCKS NEW RELEASE DATE: 27 JUNE 2025... Mark your calendars… #Kannappa – the historical action saga – is now set to release on 27 June 2025.
The makers officially announced the new release date during a special meeting with #UttarPradesh Chief Minister #YogiAdityanath ji.
#Kannappa stars #VishnuManchu, with prominent roles by #Mohanlal, #Prabhas, #AkshayKumar and #KajalAggarwal.

Vishnu Manchu took to Instagram to share about his experience meeting Yogi Adityanath. He wrote,

“What an unforgettable day!
Today, the Kannappa team had the incredible honour of meeting Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Alongside my father Mr. Mohan Babu, Mr. Prabhudeva, and our Executive Producer Mr. Vinay Maheshwari, I had the privilege of showing him the making of Kannappa.
We had a 40-minute meeting filled with positivity and powerful conversation. Shri Yogi Ji, one of my favourite real-life heroes, was gracious and warm. I’m truly humbled by his appreciation for our film and the love he showed us.
The biggest highlight—he unveiled the official release date poster of Kannappa!

About Kannappa Movie

Kannappa is a Telugu-language mythological drama which is inspired by the tale of Bhakta Kannappa, a devout follower of Lord Shiva. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu, the movie features Vishnu Manchu in the titular role, while Prabhas and Mohanlal take crucial characters. Akshay Kumar plays the role of Lord Shiva, and Kajal Aggarwal portrays the role of Goddess Parvati. For the unversed, the film’s trailer was screened at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
