Jawan Release: Ahead of film releases, you have seen actors attending social events, organising trailer launches, gracing reality TV shows to promote their movies, and whatnot. However, before Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ was even released, it reportedly sold more than 2 lakh tickets.

How did it happen? Well, after ‘Pathaan’, we must agree that SRK’s team has hired a top-notch marketing team that has already set the film to break all records at the box office even before it hit the silver screens.

Here are five marketing strategies that the ‘Jawan’ team has opted to make the film a hit on its opening day.

‘Jawan’ Trailer On Burj Khalifa

You might skip through the trailer, teaser, and posters of ‘Jawan’ on social media and hoardings, but how do you not see Dubai’s Burj Khalifa showcasing the trailer of the film?

SRK visited Dubai for this special event so that he could unveil the trailer of his upcoming film, starring Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and more.

Not just Burj Khalifa, the teaser of ‘Jawan’ went global when it was played at Times Square. From East to West and North to South, ‘Jawan’ and SRK are everywhere.

Nayanthara’s Debut On Instagram Ahead Of ‘Jawan’ Release

The timing of Nayanthara’s debut on Instagram was perfect. She posted her first reel with her sons, Uyir and Ulag. The other posts were a trailer of ‘Jawan’ in various languages.

Not only that, Nayanthara became the first Indian female actor to have ever crossed the one million mark of followers in just 10 hours. It was another appreciative move to promote the film and add to the hype around it.

Only #AskSRK, No Public Appearances

Do you remember that during ‘Pathaan’, not one person from the star cast was attending public events to promote the film? It broke several records post-release.

The same marketing strategy is being tried with ‘Jawan’, and it seems to be a successful move. #AskSRK is an online session conducted by Shah Rukh Khan, where he answers questions asked by his fans. Currently, he has been starting his session with #Jawan to create more hype around the film, and he has succeeded so far.

Countdown To ‘Jawan’ Release: Opening Day Earnings Of SRK Film

One of the best marketing gimmicks was to release the trailer of ‘Jawan’ only a week before the release date, September 7, 2023. A couple of days later, SRK announced that the audience could opt to book their tickets in advance.

It was reported that tickets worth ₹1,500 to ₹2,400 were also sold a few hours after the announcement of advance booking was made. So far, more than 2 lakh tickets have been sold for multiplexes. The number for all other theatres in India stands at 5 lakh. Based on the number of tickets that have been sold for the opening day, the film is set to earn ₹65 crores on September 7, 2023.
