Jaat Day 2 Box Office Update: Following the record-breaking success of ‘Gadar 2,’ Sunny Deol is back in action with his latest release, ‘Jaat.’ Directed by Gopichand Malineni and backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the production house known for the Pushpa franchise, the film has now completed its second day in theatres. Here's a look at how much the movie has earned so far.

According to the latest box office update, 'Jaat' has earned over Rs 15 crore in just two days since its release. The film opened with a collection of Rs 9.5 crore on day one, and after day two, the total earnings now stand at Rs 16.5 crore. Reports show that the movie had a Hindi occupancy rate of 9.10% on Friday. Whether Jaat gains momentum over the weekend remains to be seen.

The film debuted with approximately 5,585 shows across India, but that number dropped to 5,141 on the second day. Around 400 shows were removed, including 100 in Mumbai and 30 in Delhi-NCR, which impacted Friday's earnings. On Thursday, the film recorded a 14.28% Hindi occupancy, which dipped to 11.19% on Friday, April 11, 2025, according to data from Sacnilk.

About ‘Jaat’

‘Jaat,’ produced by People Media Factory and Mythri Movie Makers, features Sunny Deol in the lead alongside Randeep Hooda, who plays the primary antagonist. The action-packed thriller also brings together powerhouse talents from the South, including Ramya Krishnan and Jagapathi Babu.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh awarded the film 3.5 stars, describing it as ‘an ode to the masala cinema we've long admired—something that’s largely absent from today’s Hindi film space.’ He emphasised that ‘Jaat’ delivers exactly what audiences crave in a theatrical experience: a full-fledged entertainer.

Echoing similar sentiments, analyst Sumit Kadel also rated the film 3.5 stars and praised it as a ‘hardcore mass entertainer.’ He added, “Jaat is a total paisa vasool film, blending action with a strong storyline, emotional intensity, and a formidable villain who truly challenges the hero—an element sorely missed in many contemporary Hindi films.”
