Rajinikanth's much-anticipated film, Coolie, is continuing its impressive theatrical run despite a significant drop in collections following the Independence Day holiday. After a phenomenal opening, the film is now navigating its first full week at the box office.
Coolie Box Office Collection Day 5
According to a Sacnilk report, Coolie collected approximately Rs. 0.11 crore in India on its fifth day(Monday). This marks a sharp decline from its strong opening weekend. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, had a blockbuster opening on Thursday, August 14, and saw strong numbers over the Independence Day weekend. Its success has been particularly driven by the Tamil-speaking market, though the Hindi and Telugu versions have also contributed. The total India net collection is now estimated to be near the ₹200 crore milestone.
The film's performance on its fifth day reflects the inevitable slowdown that follows an extended holiday. However, the film has already crossed ₹300 crore worldwide within just three days, cementing its status as a major success.
Coolie Plot
