Rajkummar Rao, celebrated for his wide-ranging performances, stars alongside Wamiqa Gabbi who has been gaining attention for her recent roles in the newly released film ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf.’ The film continues to maintain a steady pace at the box office during the weekdays. Despite facing mixed reviews, the film has held its ground, performing consistently on Monday, May 26, 2025 and Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ Day 6 Box Office Report
On its first Tuesday, ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ earned approximately Rs 4.5 crore net, bringing its six-day domestic total to Rs 37 crore. The light-hearted, small-town comedy, set around a wedding, was initially expected to have a modest box office run. However, it has managed to exceed expectations and stay strong, especially in night show screenings, which recorded the highest occupancy at 36.19%.
The film also performed well in key cities, with Chennai topping the chart at 56.67% occupancy, followed by Jaipur (38.75%), NCR (30.50%), Mumbai (25%), and Pune (22.25%). According to industry tracker Sacnilk, this strong performance has allowed ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ to surpass the India collection of Shahid Kapoor’s action drama ‘Deva,’ which stood at Rs 33.97 crore.
With no major Hindi film releases this weekend, ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ is expected to sustain its momentum at the box office. However, it will face new competition from two upcoming releases scheduled for June 5, 2025 and June 6, 2025.

- Friday: Rs 7 crore
- Saturday: Rs 9.5 crore
- Sunday: Rs 11.5 crore
- Monday: Rs 4.5 crore

Interestingly, the film’s weekday performance has outpaced the second-week earnings of ‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning,’ which was released a week earlier and had a strong opening in India but slowed in its second week.

‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ tells the story of a man caught in a time loop, reliving the day before his wedding over and over again. The quirky narrative is supported by a stellar ensemble cast including Seema Pahwa, Raghubir Yadav, Zakir Hussain, and Sanjay Mishra. The film is backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the same banner that delivered the blockbuster ‘Stree 2,’ which became the first Hindi film to enter the Rs 600 crore club last year.

Originally slated for a theatrical release on May 9, 2025, ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’s’ debut was rescheduled due to nationwide security alerts following Operation Sindoor. It will be released on Prime Video India on June 6, 2025.
