Step 1: Gather The Materials
Take an old, plain kurti of any colour and place it flat on the floor. Gather all the materials, including gotta patti, scissors, and adhesive.
Step 2: Decorate The Neckline
The neckline is one of the most important parts of your suit that attracts most of the attention. Whatever design it is—round, V-neck, scoop neck, or deep neck, decorating it with a wide gotta patti will change your outfit’s look in no time. If you have a V-neck suit, for instance, measure the length of more sides of the neckline and accordingly cut two pieces of a wide gotta patti. Apply glue on each side of the neckline and place the gotta patti on them, pressing hard with your thumb. Leave it to dry.

Step 3: Spruce Up The Sleeves
Don’t leave the sleeves looking dull and boring. Cut two pieces of narrow gotta patti and paste them on the sleeves of the kurti using glue. Leave it to dry.

Step 4: Finalise The Outfit By Decorating the Border
Add the final touch to your outfit by decorating the border of your kurti. Take the bottom part of your kurti and paste a strip of wide gotta patti on it. Your festive party outfit is ready! Pair it with matching bottoms and a net dupatta to complete the look.
