25% Reservation Under RTE

According to the notification, children from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and other disadvantaged groups will receive a 25% reservation in various schools across Maharashtra. These include self-financed and unaided schools, police welfare schools, and municipal schools.

• Children from families with an annual income of less than Rs one lakh qualify as part of the EWS.
