Zahara Jolie-Pitt, the 20-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, is making headlines after recent photos raised questions about a possible engagement. The speculation began when she was seen wearing a sparkling ring on her left hand during a night out in Los Angeles.
Zahara Jolie-Pitt Engagement Rumours
On Monday night, Zahara was spotted leaving Craig's, a well-known restaurant in Hollywood, California. Photos obtained by Page Six show her stepping into the passenger seat of a car driven by actor Elijah Cooper. Notably, she was wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger, which is often associated with engagements.

Who Is Elijah Cooper?
Elijah Cooper is an actor based in Los Angeles and currently attends Morehouse College in Atlanta, as stated in his Instagram bio. He is also a co-founder of Tints, a streetwear clothing line.
Though Zahara keeps her Instagram private, Cooper follows her account, hinting at a close personal connection. While the nature of their relationship is still unconfirmed, the two have been linked in public on more than one occasion.

Zahara's Journey, Family Ties, and Humanitarian Impact
Zahara is one of the six children shared by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The couple, who married in 2014 and divorced in 2016, adopted Zahara from Ethiopia in 2005. Jolie has previously spoken about Zahara’s biological mother in a 2009 interview with journalist Ann Curry, saying, “[Zahara's] mother died of Aids and so, they wouldn't have had any funds to send her to school.”
In recent years, Zahara has been seen closely supporting her mother. In 2023, during her induction into the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College, she notably dropped ‘Pitt’ from her name. This move was widely seen as a gesture of loyalty to Jolie amid the family's high-profile divorce.
Zahara often joins her mother at public events. In March, the two attended the Women in Training Inc.’s Annual Mother-Daughter Brunch.

Despite a challenging start in life, Zahara has inspired significant humanitarian work through the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. The foundation launched the Zahara Programme in 2009 to address drug-resistant tuberculosis in Ethiopia. The family also supports the Zahara Centre, located outside Addis Ababa, which extends the work of the Maddox Chivan Children’s Centre in Cambodia.
Zahara’s Foray into Acting
Though Angelina Jolie has stated that her children aren’t pursuing acting careers, Zahara has participated in a few projects. She voiced a panda in Kung Fu Panda 3 and had an uncredited role in Maleficent, alongside her brother Pax. Her older brother Maddox also acted in First They Killed My Father, a film directed by their mother.
