In 2005, Chopra made her debut in the Indian film industry with ‘Anbe Aaruyire’, a movie in Tamil language. She has done a handful of films catering to the regional audience. The list includes ‘Jambhavan’, ‘Lee’, ‘Marudhamalai’, ‘Kaalai’, ‘Jaganmohini’, ‘Isai’, and ‘Killadi’.

Meera Chopra Has Worked In Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, And Hindi Language

The actor is known for mastering four Indian languages - Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu. After her debut film in Tamil language, she played the role of Sandhya Reedy in ‘Bangaram’, a Telugu film. Apart from this, she is fluent in English as well.

Meera Chopra Is A Cousin Of Priyanka And Parineeti Chopra

Not many people know but Meera Chopra is a cousin of Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra. In one of her interviews, the actor revealed that she does not share much closeness with the Hindi film actresses.

She added, “I can say that when three or four girls join the industry, they help each other. That did not happen to me. I never asked for help, and the help never came from them.”

“I have always extended that branch of love, but woh reciprocate bhi toh hona chahiye,” the actor was quoted saying by the Firstpost. She attended Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s wedding in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on December 1, 2018.
