On July 1, 2025, BTS reunited for a Weverse live for ARMY (BTS fans) after returning from military service. During the live session, they discussed a brand-new full-group studio album for spring 2026. They also shared that they are planning a world tour to follow the album’s release.
During the Weverse live, BTS leader RM shared that, “Starting in July, we’ll gather and focus our work on the new album. It really looks like our new album will be released in spring of next year.” He further shared, “We’re also planning on a world tour to celebrate the new album.”
BTS Heads To The USA For Album Preparation
BTS is officially gearing up for their long-awaited comeback in spring 2026, with a brand-new album and a world tour. On July 6, 2025, RM, SUGA, Jimin, and Jungkook flew to Los Angeles to begin working on new music. In the live session, RM stated, “We’ll be working on our album in the United States.”
Dispatch Korea reported that the group will stay in the USA for two months to focus fully on the album. Jin is currently on his solo world tour, J-Hope is preparing for Lollapalooza Berlin, and V will join later after Paris Fashion Week. All members have now completed military service, marking a fresh chapter for BTS. Fans can expect heartfelt music that reflects their journeys. The comeback and tour are set to be major moments in 2026.

BTS World Tour 2026
Alongside the album, a global tour is officially being planned, scheduled to kick off in Spring 2026. During the live session,BTS’s RM also said, “Of course, we will also be going on a world tour, starting next spring.”
He continued saying, “We’ll communicate [with you] as much as possible through [Weverse] live broadcasts or social media, so if you give us just a little bit of time, we’ll properly show you everything all at once.”
Although dates and locations are still under wraps, fans eagerly await further announcements as BTS begins studio sessions in the USA this summer.
