Like we have been told time and again to not frown since they can lead to lines on our foreheads, similarly, doctors suggest that constant use of phones, especially strainful squinting to read small letters can cause premature lines and wrinkles.

In order to protect our skin, especially around our eyes and forehead from aging prematurely, an application of outer eye cream on a daily basis is recommended.

Using Phones Can Cause Hyperpigmentation

Another ill-effect of the heat that cellphones lead to, is hyperpigmentation. The radiation and blue light can cause dark spots and patches on the skin.

In order to avoid this, you are suggested to use a Bluetooth device/earphone in order to curb the damage. Apart from that, you can also use landlines instead of mobile phones when at home. To prevent the dark spots you can coat the skin with a protective layer of skin serum, especially the one that contains plant stem cells. You can also invest in good-quality anti-pigmentation gels.

It is a fact that cell phones carry a lot of germs. Especially if you have dandruff, these flakes can get transferred to the face via your cell phone, resulting in pimples and acne. Not only this, the sebum which is the natural oil of the scalp can get transferred to the face and clog your pores, leading to blackheads.

In order to overcome this, you need to clean your pores on a daily basis. If your skin is acne-prone, wipe it with an astringent lotion. In order to keep the pores cleansed, use facial scrub at least twice a week.

In order to prevent the skin damage that can be caused on your skin by continuous phone usage, you must consciously try to have shorter conversations on mobile phones, shift your conversations to a landline if possible.

Experts also suggest that using hands-free devices will increase the distance between the skin and the phone which will result in lesser cell phone-induced damages on the skin.

There still is a lot of scope for research in this field. We must spread awareness to ensure that these negative outcomes of using mobile phones are well-avoided.
