Step-by-Step Guide

  • In a clean bowl, mix the activated charcoal powder with honey or aloe vera gel. Slowly add the rose water until you get a smooth, lump-free paste.
  • Before applying the mask, wash your face with a mild cleanser to remove any makeup, dirt, and oil. This allows the mask to work more effectively.
  • Using clean fingers or a soft brush, apply an even layer of the paste all over your face and neck, carefully avoiding the delicate skin around your eyes and lips.
  • Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes. Once the time is up, wet your hands and gently massage the mask in circular motions to loosen it. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until all the charcoal is washed off.
  • Gently pat your face dry with a clean towel and immediately apply a light moisturiser to lock in the hydration.

Why This Mask Works

  • Activated charcoal is highly absorbent and works like a magnet, pulling out impurities, toxins, and bacteria from deep within your pores.
  • Honey is a natural antibacterial and humectant; it helps fight acne-causing bacteria while keeping the skin hydrated. Aloe vera is incredibly soothing and hydrating. It calms irritated skin, reduces redness, and provides moisture without clogging pores.
  • Rose water acts as a gentle toner and balances the skin's pH. It helps reduce redness and provides a refreshing scent.
