Pooja Makhija posted the recipe with the caption, “Dips are one of my favourite ways to add that extra zing to anytime hunger strikes and when you can make the dip to be such a great source of proteins plus antioxidants than it’s deserves to be happily called beauty elixir!!!”

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Basil Leaves
  • 4-5 Cloves Of Garlic
  • A Hand Full Off Peeled Pista/Pistachios
  • Olive Oil
  • Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 Cup Spinach
  • Salt Crushed Black Pepper

Method

  • Add basil leaves, garlic cloves, pistachios, olive oil, nutritional yeast, spinach, salt and black pepper to a blender.
  • Blend all the ingredients well until you get desired consistency. Make sure that it is a bit coarse and thick.
  • Put it in a glass jar. Garnish it with a basil leave and chilli flakes. Chilli flakes will enhance the taste of your dip.
  • Now your pista pesto is ready to be served.
