According to the nutritionist, Deepika Padukone had a 'pitta' personality which was due to her job which included extensive travel, irregular meals, long hours outdoors among others.

To counted the heat which was generated by her pitta personality, Deepika Padukone had a tbsp of saunf or fennel seeds with cooling drinks like oats and green detox smoothies all through the day.
Deepika Padukone's Breakfast
When someone has a pitta personality, they should never skip breakfast or stay hungry for a long period of time, shared the nutritionist. Deepika Padukone's breakfast included pongal, porridge, upma (benefits of upma), boiled and sauteed red lentils tossed in cooling herbs such as cilantro, mint, fennel, or purple cabbage with millet seeds. The menu also included a side of green salad.
Deepika Padukone had fruit as a mid-morning snack with a vegetable juice. This combination took care of Deeepika's acidic tendencies till lunch.

For lunch, Deepika had roti with a bowl of cooked vegetables according to her preference.
For snacks, Deepika Padukone had a choice of tasty treats like beetroot tikki, zucchini kebabs, herbed hummus. It was teamed with ash gourd juice and chutney.
