Tips To Maintain Ear Hygiene
Here are the tips you can follow to maintain ear hygiene:
Never Put Any Foreign Object In Your Ear
We often insert foreign objects in our ears like earphones without sanitising them thoroughly. For the unversed, the lining of the ear is very delicate and an infected foreign object can damage it easily. Thus, it is advised to never poke any foreign object inside your ear. Also, don’t use other people's earphones as it can lead to ear infections.
Clean Ear In The Right Way
We often clean our ears in the wrong way. Cotton earbuds are the most used object that we use to clean our ears. But rather than cleaning, earbuds push the ear wax back inside, making it difficult to remove. The best way to clean the ears is to use a wet thin cloth. Remember not to repeat this process daily, once in 15 days is enough. Also, if you have earwax buildup in your ears, seek medical attention to get it removed.
Never Put Your Ears To Loud Music
Human ears have a hearing range, and crossing the same can lead to severe damage to the eardrum. However, most of us put our ears to loud music which can lead to serious consequences such as a decrease in hearing capabilities, ear cell damage and ear nerve damage. Thus, it is advised to listen to music at a low volume.
