• Due to long-term abstinence, you might feel a decrease in libido. Further, this can make it difficult for you to regain sexual interest.
• Lack of sexual activity also weakens pelvic floor muscles. This can lead to issues such as incontinence or pelvic pain.
• Some studies also suggest that not having intercourse can impact our immunity. If continued for extended periods, you might end up compromising your immune function.

Your Emotional Well-being Is At Stake

• Engaging in sexual activity triggers the release of endorphins, reduces stress, and promotes overall well-being. However, not indulging in sexual activity reduces the release of the hormone.
