2 cup mango puree
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp saffron
3 tbsp ghee
8-10 cashews (chopped)
8-10 pistachio (chopped)
1. Cook mango puree for two minutes on a medium nonstick pan.
2. After that, mix the sugar while cooking over a low flame. When sugar is added, the mixture first becomes fluid before beginning to thicken.
3. When it begins to thicken and stick, add 1 tsp ghee after a few minutes. Continue to stir while cooking on a low flame.
4. Add ghee to the mix and continue cooking (if it starts to stick).
5. It will eventually join together and start to roll like a ball. Bring everything together after adding the remaining ghee. You can now observe the glossy halwa look, which is the ideal stage.
6. To add cashews to the halwa, fry them in 1/2 teaspoon ghee till they turn golden brown.
7. Stir quickly, then turn off. Serve the mango halwa warm or hot.
