1. Sabudana Khichdi

Ingredients For Sabudana Khichdi

  • 1 cup sabudana (tapioca pearls)
  • 1 medium-sized boiled potato, diced
  • 1 green chilli, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon peanuts, dry-roasted and crushed
  • 1 tablespoon ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • Rock salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves

How To Make Sabudana Khichdi

1. Rinse the sabudana thoroughly and soak it in water overnight.

2. In a pan, heat ghee and add cumin seeds, green chilli, and curry leaves.

3. Add diced potatoes and cook well.

4. Add chopped green chilli and crushed peanuts, and saute for a few minutes.

5. Drain the soaked sabudana and add it to the pan and stir for some time.

6. Cook the mixture on low heat until the sabudana becomes translucent then turn off the heat.

7. Now add rock salt and garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.

Ingredients For Lauki (Bottle Gourd) Soup

  • 1 peeled and chopped small bottle gourd
  • 1-inch grated piece of ginger
  • 4 cups vegetable broth or water
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Rock salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves

How To Make Lauki (Bottle Gourd) Soup

1. In a pot, heat a tablespoon of oil, add grated ginger, and cook for another minute.

2. Add chopped bottle gourd and cook for a few minutes.

3. Pour in vegetable broth or water and bring the mixture to a boil.

4. Reduce the heat and simmer until the bottle gourd is tender.

5. Use a blender to puree the soup until smooth.

6. Now add some salt andblack pepperaccording to taste.

7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.

Assorted fruits such as apples, bananas, oranges, grapes, and pomegranate seeds

1 cup plain Yogurt

1 tablespoon honey
