  • Preparing a parantha dough is very different from a regular roti dough. 
  • For preparing gobhi parantha dough, take wheat flour, pinch of salt, small amount of oil and start to knead. Keep adding small amount of water at regular intervals.
  • If the dough becomes sticky, add some wheat flour and ghee to it.
  • Once it looks prepared, keep it covered for 15- 20 minutes before making parathas.

  • Heat oil in a pan and saute ginger.
  • Then, add grated cauliflower or gobhi and saute for another 5 minutes. Sprinkle some salt and mix. Let it cook for few minutes.
  • Now, add dry spices- coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, amchur powder and mix well.

  • Use fresh gobhi for making parathas at home. Otherwise the parathas won't give the best taste.
  • Don't stuff the paratha with excess filling otherwise it will come out when you try to cook the parathas.

  • salt to taste
  • 2 tsp coriander (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour / atta
  • water as required for kneading
  • ¼ cup wheat flour for dusting
