Begin with adding the khoya and sugar in a non stick pan. Let it cook for a couple of minutes, stir it occasionally.
Take off flame and then add all the dry fruits to it. Also sprinkle the cardamom and nutmeg powder. Mix well.
Now take an aluminium tray and grease it with butter or oil.
Transfer the mixture to the tray and let it cool.
After 4-5 hours, when the barfi is set, cut into small pieces.
You can store this barfi in an air tight container for around a week.
