How much does footwear matter when it comes to fitness as not many understand the concept of the right shoe that you need for walking and running even today?
They say if you give a girl the right pair of shoes, she can rule the world and that rings true for all people and events. So when it comes to fitness you have to educate and arm yourself with the right pair of shoes that support your feet at the gym or while brisk walking and tame your arch during your run. Sometimes even the surface you work out on can play a part in determining the grip you need and shoe you pick accordingly. For my fitness regime, I make sure I walk or jog every day at least for 10 minutes.
What is your fitness mantra?

A well-balanced diet, drink lots of water and keep yourself hydrated. Exercise and enough sleep!

Not so much. I indulge in Yoga on and off and eat whatever I like but in moderation.
Do you follow a specific diet, which goes hand in hand with your fitness regime?
No special diet, just 'Mummy ke haath ka khana'.
As a showbiz person, what is the importance of looking in shape and being thin on a scale of 10?
What’s more important is to look and feel healthy. The extremity of any kind doesn’t work. Everyone’s body isn’t the same so what works for someone else may not necessarily work for you. Crash dieting is an absolute no for anyone!
Switching on to your work life, we common people quickly hale or criticise actors for their looks and acting skills. What is life truly behind the scenes, on the sets? What is the pressure like?
I call myself TV’s girl for I have been working for a quite some time now. I have grown up on these sets and so it has honestly been part for me. It is kind of like a second home to me after so long. Behind the scenes for me generally involves reading a book if I’m done reading my script, lots of eating and napping happens on easy days, a lot of wardrobe trials, interviews with you guys... and of course some stress-busting fun and laughs with my co-stars and crew. There is no pressure when you are habituated to this part of your life. Every flipside has an upside and you know, coz you have been there before that tough times do not last.

Your work is amazing and 'Beyhadh' was a knock on the head for those who underestimated you. What are the other projects in the pipeline; When will we see you on the big screen?
Thank you, and yes 'Beyhadh' gave me an opportunity that does not happen very often for Television. I was fortunate to have it come my way, and I am blessed to have earned the creator’s vote of confidence to play Maya. Not calling it a benchmark would be denying it, it's due and whatever I take up in the future is going to be bigger and better to help me grow. Therefore, I am waiting, weighing my options and when the time is right, you will know.
Any plans for the digital world?
Since you are asking, I will tell you that I have a lot of plans, but nothing yet. Will tell you as soon as I have my mind set on the way ahead.
