Smriti Khanna, the new mother in the television industry, is a motivation for a lot of women who are going through this phase or are past it. The actress had recently posted a photo of herself on social media that sparked a serious conversation about how she shed all the post-pregnancy weight in just 6 days! While some trolled her and said the images were edited, others are dying to know how she managed to lose weight so quickly. If you are one of them, you are in for a treat.
In a recent conversation with an online portal, Smriti revealed her fitness mantra through the 9-months and said, "Honestly, I didn't do any rigorous workout and being a foodie, I didn't compromise with my pregnancy cravings. I used to mainly control the quantity. I continued my walks till the last day of my delivery. I used to walk 6000 steps, if not at one go, then at least through the day, but I followed it rigorously. I also got pelvic girdle pain which was very bad. I remember main karvat bhi nahi le paati thi."
She also revealed that she did an ample amount of yoga to lose weight. "I used to do yoga thrice a week and in lockdown, I continued doing it till the end online with the help of Zoom App. For pregnant ladies, Yoga helps a lot."

Smriti further added that her weight loss journey was far from complete but she was a work in progress. “I am 9 kg up from my actual weight as I was very thin earlier, but hence it’s not really visible. I hope to lose these 9 kilos within the next 45 days.”
