With the IPL on, so many of us will have family and friends over to watch the matches. Everyone will be in the mood to binge on unhealthy food for sure! Celebrity Nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar has come up with a special IPL Diet Plan which will combat that query. It is not very extravagant, she has suggested some simple yet tasty food. 

Whether it’s her ideology that Indians shouldn’t give up on foods like rice, ghee and sugar, or her belief that eating healthy doesn’t mean giving up on your favourite dishes. No, we know why Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt take her advise so seriously. Now she has a diet plan designed around IPL 2019.

Have chapatti with ghee and jaggery OR Ajwain paratha with white butter (makhan) OR a banana by 6 to 6:30pm.

Khichadi dahi OR egg curry with rice OR Dal/ sambhar/ fish with rice by 8:30 -9 pm. Now fish is extremely nutritious and tasty and sambar is amazing as well. Egg curry too is something "achha". Fish has important nutrients, like protein and vitamin D. It is amongst the world's best source of omega-3 fatty acids. These acids are very important for your body and brain. On the other hand, Sambar has been proven to fight Colon Cancer thanks to the spices, and ingredients like drumsticks, shegva or sehjan ki phalli. Egg curry... well there is so much to say in its honour but to give you an idea, egg curry is rich in Selenium, vitamin D, B6, B12 and minerals like zinc, iron and copper.
