Shilpa Shetty Roasts Kapil Sharma Over His Tweets, Times The Comedian Was In News For Wrong Reasons

In the past, King Of Comedy, Kapil Sharma has landed himself into many controversies. From his drunk tweet to PM Modi to ugly spat with co-actor Sunil Grover, the actor has made headlines for wrong reasons a couple of times.

Recently, Shilpa Shetty took a dig at Kapil Sharma's 'drunk tweets' as she appeared on the show with the co-judges of India's Got Talent.

In a promo released by the channel, Shilpa Shetty can be seen teasing Kapil Sharma. She can be seen telling everyone that Kapil Sharma's biggest talent is that he does mind-blowing tweets. To this, Kapil Sharma responded that these days he tweets less. Shilpa Shetty then further questions him why because all wine shops are open. This left everyone burst out in laughter. Drunk Tweet To PM Modi

In the year 2016, Kapil Sharma tweeted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and called out BMC for demanding a bribe from him to build his office. His tweet read, "I am paying 15 cr income tax from last 5 year n still i have to pay 5 lacs bribe to BMC office for making my office @narendramodi." However, his tweet backfired. He was accused for having illegal extensions to his building. Recently, he talked about the incident on his stand-up special on Netflix' I'm Not Done Yet. He shared that after making that tweet, he left for the Maldives instantly and lived there for 8-9 days. When he reached the Maldives, he asked the hotel to give him a room with no internet.

Kapil Sharma shared that the stay costed him INR 9 Lakhs which he didn't even spent on his education. “That one line costed me that much. I want to sue Twitter,” he said.

Spat With Sunil Grover

Its been a while since this happened and their fans still hope to see them together, sharing screen some day. As per reports, when Kapil Sharma and his team were on their way back to Mumbai, India from Australia, Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover had an ugly flight on board. Reportedly, Kapil Sharma assaulted Sunil Grover physically and verbally. Sunil Grover kept his calm during the incident but late quit The Kapil Sharma Show. Ever since the incident, the two haven't collaborated. Kapil Sharma apologised to Sunil Grover publically over Twitter after the fight. He tweeted, "Paji @WhoSunilGrover sry if I hurt u unintentionally.u knw vry well how much I luv u. M also upset .love n regards always:)."

In the year 2015, Kapil Sharma attended the International Marathi Film Festival Awards. Reportedly, after having a few drinks, the comedian misbehaved with female stars like Monali Thakur and Tanisha Mukherjee. Though the news made headlines the very next day, the comedian denied. He later took to his Twitter and tweeted a post which read, "I fall, I rise, I make mistakes, I live, I learn, I've been hurt but I am alive. I am human, I am not perfect but I am thankful."
