In a fast paced world where people are constantly stressed about things, a good morning routine can do wonders in helping people stay calm and focused. Not only will performing at least an hour long ritual on a daily basis will help you with this, but it will also help you become hyper-productive in life.

There are numerous benefits of having a routine but first that it demands is for you to wake up early.
I know it is too much to ask for but it is time to break up with your bed in the morning and take the first step!
To start your day feeling calm and focused, try out these morning activities-
After perfecting your bedtime routine, it is time for Stretching. Stretching first thing in the morning stimulates blood flow throughout the body and brain, which had been at rest during the night. This helps the body perform better in everyday activities, including physical exercise, and eliminates stiffness. It also helps in the improvement of posture, flexibility, and gives you energy for later activities.
2. Sit In Silence
The morning time is the perfect time to sit quietly with a cup of coffee or simply meditate. You don't have to close your eyes or chant; simply sit in whatever position is most comfortable for a few minutes. It will make you feel more relaxed, and you will be able to start your day with a clear mind.
Meditation is said to be one of the best things you can do to improve your mental health.
3. Go For A Walk
Go for a walk of at least 20 minutes a day in the morning and see your mental and physical fitness getting better. Walking has several health benefits like Increasing lung capacity, improving blood sugar level, blood circulation and oxygen flow, etc. It can also fill you with more energy and improve your mood.
4. Write A Journal
Writing out all of your muddled thoughts and feelings on paper may help you clear your head and you can come up with better ideas. Starting the day with writing a journal is a great idea. Many people also use it to create a daily to-do list or to set daily expectations from themselves, which is an excellent idea. You are free to use it in any way you want.
5. Sit With Loved Ones
Spend some time with your loved ones for at least some time. If you live alone, you can video call them. Spending time with your loved ones and exchanging thoughts will bring you comfort and peace of mind. Your loved one’s aura can make you relaxed, which will prepare you to start your day in a focused way.
Practicing yoga first thing in the morning (preferable after mentioned activities), will infuse you with energy, allowing you to have a productive day. It is a great strength-building activity as well as a great way to calm your body and mind. These activities are good enough to help you have a focused day. All you have to do now is get ready for the day ahead. Take a shower, put on a great outfit and get ready to wow everyone. Even if you’re just staying home, dress up in a smart way.
