Human Rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai shared beautiful pictures of her Nikkah ceremony while announcing her marriage on social media. This news garnered love from across the world and got them overjoyed.

The 24 years old Nobel laureate, Malala Yousafzai got married to a manager for the Pakistan Cricket Board, Asser Malik. They tied the knot on 9th november, 2019 in a small nikkah ceremony in Birmingham, England. Nikkah is an Islamic marriage ceremony.

Malala announced this news through a social media post along with the pictures. In the post, she wrote,

" Today marks a precious day in my life. 

Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life. We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead."

Her father replied on this tweet,

"It is beyond words. Toor Pekai and I are overwhelmed with joy and gratitude.

Alhamdulillah."

Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s ex-wife Jemima Goldsmith's also wished, "Congratulations and mashallah x"

Apple CEO Tim Cook congratulated by "Congratulations to you and Asser! Wishing you all the best as you begin your new life together."

While Apple Vice President Lisa Jackson also sent, "Congratulations and blessings!" to the lovely couple.

Actress Priyanka Chopra wrote, "Congratulations, along with heart and fire emojis", while another bollywood star Katrina Kaif commented, “Congratulations”. The popular Indian film composer, A. R. Rahman also commented with a wedding wish, "Shaadi Mubarak, May the Almighty bless you with health,happiness,and love!"

World's Youngest Nobel Prize Laureate

She is the world's youngest Nobel Prize laureate, and second Pakistani to get this award. She is known for human rights advocacy, especially the education of women and children in her native Swat Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northwest Pakistan, where the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan had at a time banned girls from attending school. 

Malala Yousafzai became the face of Taliban brutality when she chose to go to her school in the Swat Valley. An armed Taliban gunman boarded Malala's transport on October 9, 2012, and shot her in the head.

She and her family resides in Birmingham currently after the attempted assassination. Her advocacy has now grown into an international movement.
