Let us start with the basic bookmark/ For this, you just need a 12×3 cm piece of heavy weight sheet. Decorate it in any way that you like. Now, just punch a hole at the top in the middle. Then, use a small ribbon and pass it through hole. At last, tie the ends of the ribbon and
Start off by cutting a 12×3 cm piece of cardboard. Now, just find an old tassel that must be lying around in your house. It can be from an old dress or a show piece that has worn out. Paste this tassel on the bottom of the cardboard piece.
Now, to transform the bookmark, cover the cardboard with a colourful or patterned sheet. If you want to keep it simple, then just cover it with a solid sheet. Voila! Your bookmark is now ready to be used.
If you don’t want to do this much hard work, then just use a 12×3 cm piece of heavy weight sheet and paste the tassel at the bottom of it.
These super cute bookmarks seem to be tricky but are really easy to make. Just take a 12×3 cm piece of heavy weight sheet and make a cute kitty face on it with the paws. Now, outline it using sketch pens and cut out the shape.
After the kitty is ready with you, you just need to cut the outline of the paws using a sharp cutter. Then, bend these paws forward and your kitty bookmark is ready. Now, just stick it in your novel. These little bookmarks are a bit tricky to make but once you know how to make it, it’ll be done in 2 minutes. Take a 6×6 inch square and fold it diagonally. Then fold the right corner of the triangle over to meet the bottom corner. Repeat with the other side.
Now, unfold the last two steps leaving the diagonal fold, thus, a rectangle is there. Now, fold 1 half of the bottom corner up to meet the top edge. Then, fold the right corner in to meet the top corner. Repeat the same on the left side. Now, unfold the last two steps.
Using the crease, fold the right corner down and tuck under the flap. Repeat with the left side. Your bookmark is now ready and you can decorate it just the way you want.
