How To Make Zafrani Paneer Tikka?

  • In a bowl, add milk and saffron strands.
  • Peel ginger and garlic and blend into a smooth paste.
  • In a pan, add some oil, turmeric and gram flour or besan.
  • Cook the mixture for 5 minutes.
  • Take out in a bowl.
  • In another bowl, mix turmeric paste, minced ginger garlic, yogurt, cream, milk and saffron.
  • Marinate paneer cubes in this mixture.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Grease a baking tray with oil or butter.
  • Place marinated paneer in the tray.
  • If you have an electronic tandoor, you can cook the paneer in it.
  • If cooking in an oven, preheat to 200°C then bake the paneer for 10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle black pepper powder, chaat masala.
  • Squeeze lemon juice and serve.

    Ingredients

    • 2 Saffron Strands
    • 2 Tsp Milk
    • 1 Medium Piece Ginger
    • 5 Garlic Cloves
    • Oil As Required 2 Tsp Turmeric
    • 3 Tbsp Gram Flour
    • 3-4 Tbsp Yogurt
    • 50 Ml Cream
    • 400gm Paneer
    • Black Pepper Powder As Required
    • Salt To Taste
    • Chat Masala To Taste
    • Lemon Juice

    Step

    • Step 1 :

      In a bowl, mix saffron and milk.

    • Step 2 :

      In a pan, add turmeric and gram flour. Stir well and take off flame.

    • Step 3 :

      In a bowl, add yogurt, cream, turmeric mix, ginger garlic paste, salt, and saffron mix.

    • Step 4 :

      Marinate paneer cubes in the mixture and refrigerate.

    • Step 5 :

      Pre-heat oven for 10 minutes at 200 degree celsius and then slide in the paneer cube tray.

    • Step 6 :

      Sprinkle black pepper powder, chat masala. Squeeze lemon juice over paneer and serve.
