Food prepared at home always tastes better and surely you will put it in the best ingredients in it. Here are some easy recipes to prepare healthy energy protein bars at home:

Almond And Honey Bar

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups almonds
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • ¼ cup roasted bajra 
  • 4 dates

Directions:

Powder your almonds in a mixer. Next, add honey and mix again. Now add in the dates and mix well. Butter a baking tray and take out this mix on the tray.  Add roasted bajra to the mix. Now press the entire mix flat and even it out. Place the tray in a pre-heated oven for around 20 minutes. Take out and let it cool. Now cut bar pieces out. You can store these bars in airtight containers for some days.

Oats And Peanut Butter Bar

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup milk 
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 ¼ cup protein powder (as per choice)
  • 2 cups rolled oats 
  • Chocolate syrup 

Directions:

In a pan, add milk, peanut butter and honey. Keep stirring on low heat. Next add protein powder and oats to the milk. Take a tray and grease it with some oil or butter. Transfer the mixture into the pan and even it out well. Now let it cool. Later, cut into desired shapes. You can drizzle some chocolate syrup and let it cool for some time. Now store and consume within a week.

Cranberry And Dates Bar

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups classic rolled oats 
  • ¾ cup dried cranberries
  • ½  cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup dates
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup protein powder
  • 1/3 cup milk

Directions:

In a bowl, take rolled oats, peanut butter, dates, cocoa powder and protein powder. Now transfer them to a mixer and pulse well. Now transfer back to a large bowl and add cranberries and milk. Combine all the ingredients well. Line a tray with oil and press all the mixture on the tray evenly. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and then cut into bars.
