Ingredients:

  • 400 gms dates (deseeded)
  • 20 gms poppy seeds
  • 50 gms chopped almonds
  • 50 gms chopped cashew nut
  • 50 gms chopped dry grapes
  • 25 gms grated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 75 gms ghee

Method:

  • Roast the poppy seed in a pan over low heat, then set it aside. Also, grind the dates.
  • Over a low flame, fry the dry fruits and nuts in ghee. When it starts to brown, add the grated coconut and cardamom powder and stir well and finally add dates. 
  • Mix and cook well for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Now, transfer it to the plate while its hot and spread throughly and slice them into slices. Drizzle the poppy seeds over the barfi.
  • Slice them into squares and set aside to cool. You can store it in a container.

 

Mug Brownie

If you are craving a chocolaty treat, then this fudgy brownie in a mug will serve you the best.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp flour/ maida
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (Or, according to taste)
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Method:

  • Take a microwavable mug.
  • Combine all the dry ingredients in it.
  • Now add in the wet ingredients.
  • Microwave the cake for two minutes. (Or, depending on your microwave settings.)
  • Enjoy your mug cake with your favourite ice cream on top.

Chocolate Cake

  • 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
