Yoga To Improve Blood Circulation

Good blood circulation is essential to a sound body since it assists in delivering oxygen, nutrients, and energy throughout. Himalayan yogic methods, Siddhohum Kriya, Himalaya Pranam, and the Healing Walk, naturally stimulate blood circulation, energise the body, and calm the mind.

Himalayan Pranam

Himalaya Pranam, which comes from the sacred lineage of Lord Shiva, is a dynamic 11-step sequence. This very old sequence stretches the body, enhances oxygenation, and activates important energy points.

Steps in brief:

  • Stand in Samasthiti.
  • Join the palms in the Pranam Asana.
  • Bend forward halfway into Samakonasana, then fully with the legs apart.
  • Continue with forward and backward bend: Advasana, Shalabhasana, Adho Mukha Svanasana, Padahastasana, and then stand in Pranam Mudra again.

This helps blood circulation along the spine, in the brain, and in the limbs, assists heart functioning, and relieves muscular tension.

Siddhohum Kriya

“The Universe is full of vast and mysterious powers. These powers can be transferred to us whenever we need them, so as to face various challenges in life. There are many practices that help purify oneself to become a container for receiving energies, to enlarge this capacity, and also to make one strong enough to implement these energies. Siddhohum Kriya is one such practice,” shared the expert.

Yoga for Blood Circulation

“Through Siddhohum Kriya, one receives the powers transferred from the Master, and is also taught how to implement them. It is a yogic practice that combines a meditation technique with a simple 5-step asana sequence. Sit in the first position of SUKHASANA and prepare yourself to end the process of Siddhohum Dhyan by offering this practice to the Universe,” he added.

Healing Walk

The healing Walk is the healing yoga technique where each step is made with arms raised overhead while the mind focuses on the breath. This position opens the chest, further enhances heart activity, and improves blood circulation. It settles the mind, energises the body, and heals. A simple walk, when meant for this purpose, can become the greatest aid to health and inner peace.
