In the above video, the actress is performing a headstand pose called Shirshasana or Salamba Shirshasana. She begins by doing a headstand and gradually transitions her body into a bridge.

The first pose helps strengthen the spine, core and upper body. It stimulates the lymphatic system and helps to increase flexibility. You must not try it without someone to hold your legs or wall to support your posture.

This is a compass pose or Parivrtta Surya Yantrasana. It improves flexibility and helps the body gain strength. Singh, the expert, says that it offers outward and inner guidance and helps one attain tranquillity.

Adho Mukha Vrksasana

Using the wall behind for support, Alaya F is in a downward-facing tree pose. It is also called Adho Mukha Vrksasana. The actress has maintained stability in her hands.

Singh says that this yoga pose improves balance and works on the core. It improves blood circulation and lymph flow. It strengthens the muscles of the arms, back, shoulders, hips and core.

Adho Mukha Vrksasana With Legs Spread
